IEEE Kalinga University Student Branch, the most vibrant branch under IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section organized International IEEE World Conference on Communication & Computing 2023 at Kalinga University Campus on 14th and 15th July. The conference targeted state-of-the-art as well as emerging topics pertaining to Engineering & Technology. It also developed effective strategies for implementation of Engineering and technology on Intelligent Systems. The objective of this world conference was to provide opportunities for the Researchers, Academicians, Industry persons and students to interact and exchange ideas, experience and expertise in the current trend and strategies in Engineering & Technology.
Mr. Siddharth Agrawal, Director, Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd cum Managing Director Godawari Green Energy Ltd, HIRA group was the Chief Guest of the event. Dr. Chanakya Jha, Past Chair-HTC, IEEE India Council and Dr. Manish Dixit, Vice Chair, IEEE MP Section were the guest of honor. During the inauguration Dr. R Shridhar, Vice Chancellor, Kalinga University, Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar of the University, Mr. Harish Patil, IEEE conference organizer were also present along with the Chief guest & guest of honor.
Mrs. Anu G Pillai, Assistant Professor of Kalinga University was the master of ceremony. Dr. Vijayalaxmi Biradar, Director IQAC of Kalinga University and convenor of the conference gave an overview about the conference during inaugural. “1436 papers were received in the conference from various parts of the world out of which only around 292 papers were selected for presentation after reviewing those papers by 3 reviewers”; she quoted. More than 80 session chairs and session coordinators were involved in conducting the sessions in online as well as offline mode. IEEE MP Section has technically sponsored the conference. Mr. Sarat Chandra Mohanty, Assistant Professor & IQAC Coordinator managed all the sessions during the conference.
Mr. Anup Kumar Jana, IEEE KU SB Counsellor, on behalf of the organizing committee expressed gratitude to all participants, keynote speakers, session chairs, reviewers, sponsors, and volunteers for their valuable contributions, which made the conference a resounding success.
