On 16th September 2023, Kalinga University, a leading institution known for its commitment to excellence in education, proudly hosted the third Alumni Meet of Raipur Chapter. The event brought together vibrant and enthusiastic alumni from various batches, creating an atmosphere of nostalgia, camaraderie, and fun.
The Alumni Meet, held on the sprawling campus of Kalinga University, was a testament to the enduring bond between the university and its graduates. It provided a platform for alumni to reconnect, reminisce, and forge new connections while celebrating their shared journey.
The evening progressed with the blessings of Vice Chancellor, Dr. R Shridhar and was marked by a series of exciting and fun-filled events that left everyone thoroughly entertained. The Registrar Dr. Sandeep Gandhi highlighted the University’s inception and its remarkable achievements in the last decade. Mr. Pankaj Tiwari, Director CCRC gave an insightful presentation on the KIF (Kalinga Incubation Foundation) and CTCD (Corporate Training & Consultancy Division). Experience Sharing by Alumni was one of the highlights of the program. A fun-filled game session was organised by Mr. Saurabh Banwar and Mr. Arup Halder in which alumni enthusiastically participated fostering a spirit of healthy competition.
Ms. Shreya Sharma, master of the ceremony gave the inaugural speech. The winners were presented with gifts by Ms. Arshpreet Kaur Boparai. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. Arun Halder at the end of the event. A sumptuous buffet dinner provided a delicious treat, with a variety of cuisines to savour, evoking memories of campus life.
Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar of Kalinga University, expressed his delight at the successful event by adding that “Our alumni are a vital part of the Kalinga University community, and events like these help us strengthen the ties that bind us. It’s heart-warming to see our graduates thriving in their respective fields and contributing to society.”
