On the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandhan, members of the Brahmakumari organization visited Kalinga University’s hostel, spreading warmth and camaraderie among the students away from their homes. This heartwarming event brought together more than 130 students and wardens, creating cherished memories of celebrating Raksha Bandhan with Brahmakumari didis.
The festivities began with Brahmakumari didis tying rakhis to the students residing in the university hostel. This traditional and symbolic gesture of protection and care resonated deeply with the students, especially as they are away from their families during their academic pursuits. The rakhis served as a tangible reminder of the strong bonds they share with the Brahmakumari community.
International students, known for their enthusiasm and willingness to embrace different cultures and traditions, were also thrilled to participate in this heartwarming celebration.
