“AI and Future of Teachers” an Inter College Elocution Competition hosted by Kalinga University

Kalinga University, located in Naya Raipur, is a prestigious institution dedicated to providing quality education and fostering holistic development. With a commitment to academic excellence and a focus on research and innovation, the university has consistently ranked among the top 101-150 institutions in the country as per NIRF ranking.

On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, Kalinga University’s Faculty of Education hosted an inter-college elocution competition titled “AI and the Future of Teachers” on campus. A total of 46 students from various prestigious institutions such as Government B.Ed. College Raipur, Kamlakant College Bhatapara, Disha College Raipur, along with Kalinga University Raipur participated in the competition.

The Elocution began with a brief introduction of university dignitaries and Elocution regulations. Dr. Shraddha Verma, Dean of the Faculty of Education, started the event with a welcome address. The special guest of the event was Mr. Pawan Shiva, C.G. Head and Mr. Umesh Agrawal, the distributor for C.G., Techno Smartphone graced the occasion.  Dr. Shilpi Bhattacharya, Dean of Arts and Humanities, was the event judge and praised the participants’ extraordinary talent and eloquence.

Mr. Abhinav Patel of Disha College Raipur won first place with his thought-provoking conversation. By using his persuasive skills, Mr. Ajay Kumar Bhoi of Govt. B.Ed. College Raipur won second place. The winners were awarded with – a state-of-the-art Techno smartphone and trendy earbuds respectively.

Dr. Lubhawani Tripathi, Associate Professor at Kalinga University was the event coordinator. In her vote of thanks, she thanked all of the participants, judges, and special guests for their essential contributions to the event’s success. The Intercollege Elocution Competition ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, leaving the audience energized and filled with gratitude for the incredible talent on exhibit.
