Date – 27th & 28th October 2023

The Faculty of Law, Kalinga University organized an International Conference in Hybrid Mode with the objective of enhancing the knowledge of Research Scholars, Academicians, and Students, in which a total of 165 participants from all over the world participated as Attendees and Presenters.
The International Conference on Constitutionalism was a prestigious global event that brought together scholars, legal experts, policymakers, and practitioners to convene and engage in in-depth discussions on various aspects of constitutional law.
The day one of the Conference had Prof. (Dr.) V.C. Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor, HNLU as the Chief Guest. Adv. Khalid Tanvir Jalani, Advocate, High Court of C.G., Mr. Prashant Kumar, Assistant Professor, MATS University, Mr. Abhinav Shukla, Assistant Professor, HNLU, Mr. Mayank Shrivastava, Assistant Professor, HNLU were the Guest of Honor and Chairpersons of the technical sessions.
Ms. Chandni Hariramani, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law, Kalinga University, Raipur, was the master of ceremony. Mrs. Saloni Tyagi Shrivastava, HOD-Faculty of Law, Kalinga University and Convenor of the Conference, delivered the welcome speech, which was followed by a keynote address by the day’s Chief Guest.
This Conference was mainly focused on benefiting Research Scholars, Academicians, and Students and fostering a global dialogue on constitutionalism by facilitating the exchange of ideas, best practices, and innovative approaches to strengthen and uphold constitutional principles, governance, and the rule of law across diverse nations and legal systems.
On day two Ms. Dhruti Dewangan, Student Convenor, International Conference, Kalinga University, Raipur hosted the Valedictory Ceremony. The day’s Chief Guest was Dr. Abhinav Pradhan HoI (I/C), Amity Law School, Amity University, Raipur, and Ms. Sneha Rajnikant, Legal Associate at PWC, Canada. The Guest of Honor for the day was Ms. Sneha Rajnikant, Legal Associate at PWC, Canada. Adv. Aditya Verma, High Court, Chhattisgarh, Dr. Anindhya Tiwari, Assistant Professor, HNLU and Mr. Amitesh Deshmukh, Assistant Professor, HNLU were the Guest of Honor and Chairperson. Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar, of Kalinga University, Raipur, delivered the welcome address, which was followed by a keynote address from the day’s Chief Guest.
The Conference will help to improve the knowledge of all attendees, who will return with a better grasp of constitutional concepts and their applicability in various settings, the result in practical policy recommendations that can influence governance strategies and constitutional reforms in various countries, opportunities for future research collaborations and scholarly initiatives may emerge from the connections made during the event, may reinforces the commitment to constitutionalism, the rule of law, and human rights protection on a global scale.
At the end, Ms. Harleen Kaur, Assistant Professor and Co-Convenor of International Conference, Faculty of Law, Kalinga University, Raipur presented the Vote of Thanks.
