On 26th August 2023, Kalinga University Students along with faculties participated in the “Inclusive Walkathon”, an event aimed for enhancing voter awareness and engagement by the Chief Election Officer, CG.
More than 150 Kalinga University students and faculty members came together to support the cause of voter awareness by participating in the “Inclusive Walkathon”, spanning a distance of 4 kilometers. The participants marched together, exemplifying the strength of collective efforts toward building an informed electorate.
The students from Kalinga University exhibited great excitement as they participated in the walkathon with vigour and a sense of purpose. This event encouraged community and responsibility among the participants while also promoting voter knowledge.
The culminating moment of the event was the distribution of medals to all participants, acknowledging their commitment to the cause. The medals were given to them as a gesture of appreciation for their active participation and commitment to spreading the word about the value of voting.
The Inclusive Walkathon was a collaborative effort that exemplified the spirit of unity and shared responsibility. By involving students and faculty members, Kalinga University showcased its commitment to nurturing responsible and engaged citizens.
