Two days of Seminar on “Budget Analysis and Quiz”

The Faculty of Commerce and Management, Kalinga University, in association with Amartya Sen Chair of Kalinga University, organized two days of Session on “Budget Analysis and Quiz Competition” on 9th& 10th February 2023..
The event was aimed at promoting awareness about the various provisions of Budget 2023. The experts in the event were Mr. Rajat Mehrotra, Research Analyst, Blogger and content writer and Mrs. Vinita Raj, M.D. Word Dealers Pvt. Ltd., Entrepreneur & Academician.
The workshop had participation from students of Kalinga University. More than 150 students from various courses joined the informative workshop. In the Session, experts also discussed various area in which Government is mainly focusing, like green growth, vision for Amrit kaal, and Saptarishi priorities.
The students were made aware of difference between the current budget and the past budget and how the current budget focuses on the contemporary aspect of growth of the nation. The quiz was conducted to encourage students to actively gather information about the current budget and make them aware about the major annual financial event.
The Event was graced by the presence of Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, CMA, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Kalinga University. He appreciated the efforts of the faculty member Ms. Muskan Diwan for organizing this event.
Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, the Registrar of the Kalinga University, appreciated the efforts of the department in taking steps to make students well versed with the Annual Budget.
