“DESIGN THINKING, CRITICAL THINKING & INNOVATION”

The Faculty of Commerce and Management organised a workshop on “DESIGN THINKING, CRITICAL THINKING & INNOVATION” for providing the students’ knowledge about state of the art perspectives, ideas, concepts and solutions related to the design and execution of innovation driven projects using design thinking principles.

The program started with the introduction of design thinking and innovation that helps the students to develop an advance innovation and growth mindset form of problem identification and reframing, foresight, hindsight and insight generation. The students learned about the importance of design thinking and made themselves aware about its scope in near future.

All these important factors were explained and made the student understand and interact at the same time. In the end a question and answer session was conducted to test the learning and understanding skills of the students. Also the queries related to the subject matter was fairly answered.

The speaker of the workshop was Dr. Jitendra Patel who is professor in NMIMS, Indore. The event was coordinated by Ms. Riya Goel, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Commerce and management. The session was also attended by Dean and Faculties of the concerned department. Overall, the workshop proved to be knowledgeable. Also the feedback collected later has proved its positive impact.
